Jesus promises to build his church on a foundation so strong that even death can't destroy it (Matthew 16:18). When he says "the gates of Hades will not overcome it," he means God's kingdom is unstoppable. As students facing tough situations, remember you're part of something unshakeable. Todays Prayer
God, thank you that you've given us authority to bind and loose things on earth as they are in heaven. Help us use this power wisely and always seek your will first. When we pray together and make decisions, remind us that you're right there with us. Build our faith on the solid foundation of Jesus, our Rock. Make us into the spiritual house and royal priesthood you've called us to be. Amen.
