Authentic identity in Christ begins when we stop pretending and stop defining ourselves by strength or society. Our identity is rooted in Christ through death and new life (2 Cor 5:14–17). Without Him we are blind, but in Him we are adopted and transformed (Romans 8:14). The cross shows our identity is based on what Christ did, not what we do. So we don’t have to fake strength. God’s power is revealed in our weakness. This week, walk in that truth: be real, be grounded in Christ, and let Him be strong in you.
“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

God, thank You that our identity is found in Christ and not in ourselves. Help us to stop pretending and to walk in truth. Teach us to embrace our weaknesses, knowing that Your power is made perfect in them. Remind us that we are adopted, known, and transformed by You. Ground us in the finished work of the cross and guide us by Your Spirit each day. Help us live authentically, in how we think, speak, and love. Amen.
